Yuletide Greeting at National Museum of Ireland
Did you know that many popular Christmas traditions have their roots in the Viking celebration of mid-winter known as Yule?
If you didn't, why not bring the kids to the National Museum of Ireland Archaeology to learn all about Yule traditions and much more. A free, drop-in event, create your own runic (ancient Germanic language of Northern Europe) Yule tree decorations to take home, and discover what other elements of their traditions we’ve adopted today.
Pop in from 11am - 12pm, or 2pm - 3pm on 13th December.
