One City One Book
Dublin: One City, One Book is an award-winning Dublin City Council initiative, led by Dublin City Public Libraries, which encourages everyone to read a book connected with the capital city during the month of April every year.
This year's choice is Roddy Doyle's The Barrytown Trilogy. Throughout the exciting programme of events The Barrytown Trilogy will be brought to life through music, film and public readings.
The programme will include Barrytown Meets Musictown, a musical and literary celebration of the trilogy. There will be performances by Glen Hansard, Damien Dempsey, Aslan, Cait O' Riordan and many more. It will be an evening not to be missed.
There will be numerous events throughout the month of April so be sure to look back here for updates and to keep an eye on the Dublin One City One Book website.
