Lockdown Dublin, Dublin City’s first pop punk club night was established in March 2011. Starting off in a small room in The Twisted Pepper, Lockdown had grown into an established alternative night. Taking a break for a number of years – Lockdown Dublin is back for one night only for one hell of a party with all proceeds going to ARC Cancer support centre.

During its 3 fun filled years – holding after parties for Every Time I Die, Funeral for a Friend, Enter Shikari andKerrang! Tour, working with local & international companies such as Warner Music Ireland, Slam Dunk UK etc. Lockdown is not shy about bringing the tunes and the odd crowd surfing.

The reason for this reunion has a very important cause. A friend of ours and many, Sue, passed away quite recently after a long and very brave battle with illness. Sue was an avid goer of Lockdown who we cherished greatly but also a very kind person with huge heart AND a badass streak to match. You would never meet a greater person. In the wake of this, we decided to get together and do something in her memory: The Biggest and Best celebration of her life.
