Laya Healthcare’s City Spectacular takes place in Dublin’s Merrion Square this July 10th – 12th

The free festival that brought you 14,000 people breaking the Where’s Wally World Record, 1,500 people bouncing on space hoppers, a custard pie throwing championship, rainbow disco and hundreds of jaw-dropping street performers from all over the world; is getting ready to blow out its candles to celebrate its 10th birthday this July.

This highly skilled crew are in a league of their own. Hip-hoppin' and back-flippin' straight out of the US of A, this trio are as quick on their feet as they are quick witted. Check out these NYC b-boys if you want to learn how to bust-a-move and improve your skillz yo! So hot that they are partially blamed for the rise in global warming, this show isn't just good...it's freakin' awesome!

Mario Queen of the Circus

This latin lothario's show absolutely should not be missed! Mario needs to share his love with you. His love of Queen and the late, great Freddie Mercury is so strong he's built a whole show around it. Juggling, duelling and unicycling all in the name of this amazing band, Mario entertains and enthrals his audience with his passion and skill. Mario's show should most certainly not be missed.

Keywest

Keywest are a high octane rock pop outfit whos members hail from the UK and Ireland. A band not to be missed live, Keywest have become one of Ireland biggest Independent artists and it all stems from the street performances.

Million Dollar Eyebrows

Give me my princess back; a play that you are the HERO! Alexis the man with million dollar eyebrows shares the stage with you, the audience members, as you become the stars of the show. Combining great music and smooth dance moves with a comedic cherry on top, Alexis creates a funky dance show where anything can happen. Every show is different, so make sure to see these ‘brows more than once!

Bendy Em

Want to see a grown woman cram herself into a teeny tiny box? Tie herself in a knot? Pint-sized Bendy Em will have you on the edge of your seat as she comically bends and contorts her body into freakily mind-boggling positions. One of the world’s leading contortionists, Bendy Em can bend her limbs like you never thought was possible and fit her whole body into a 15 inch see-through box.

Mama Lou

Metal bar-bending MamaLou is quite the woman. She rips phone books in half, breaks boards and pounds nails with her fists. A weight-training Nigella Lawson, Mama Lou gives our tastebuds a treat with a cookery demonstration- strong woman style. She crushes apples in her biceps, lifts potatoes with her tongue, rolls up frying pans with her bare hands and makes sure this is a show we will not forget.

Victor Rubilar

5 time world record holding football freestyler Victor Rubilar does a show about his two loves - footballs and girls! Juggling, spinning, and balancing as many as 5 footballs at once while flirting with audience members, Rubilar’s show is a mix of high-skill and fast love. He would happily show Lionel Messi a thing or two about how the game is really played!

Fraser Hooper

'Boxing's biggest baddy' Fraser Hooper will dare to challenge all comers in a three round bout of pure comedy carnage.This superb silent clown brings a mesmeric mime show with classic ingredients of hilarious audience involvement, ridiculous routines and a complete disregard for his own safety. Get a ringside seat for a guaranteed belly aching knockout performance.

Shep Huntly

A legend of Australian sideshow, Shep truly is a man with an iron stomach. Members of the audience will drop bowling balls from a step ladder onto his stomach. Oh did he mention he’ll also be lying on a bed of forks? Just another day in the open air office for our Shep. Add jokes, some whip cracking, and a dose of acrobatics and you have a show you can not miss! (Honestly, don't miss it!)

The Space Cowboy

This 34 time world record holder has been a festival favourite over the past 10 years and he’s the only performer ever to win the Street Performance World Championships more than once. His sideshow world records include the longest lightning bolt to hit a swallowed sword and the world’s first underwater sword-swallow (in a tank full of sharks!). His dangerous 3m unicycle finale is a must-see.
