James Connolly Festival-May 6th Events
This year sees the commencement of the first annual 'James Connolly Festival.' It will play host to a broad list of cultural and political acts and events - with music, theatre, poetry, films, art, debates and lectures intended for a new risen people from May 4th to 10th.
May 6th Events:
13:00-14:30: Hairy Jaysus by Donal O' Kelly. Donal O’Kelly’s solo show Hairy Jaysus is a view of pacifist, feminist and socialist Frank Sheehy-Skeffington seen through the eyes of a Dublin beggar today. To be held in The New Theatre. Tickets €5.
19:30-10:00: Fiach Moriarty, Stephen Murphy, Sarah Clancy, Andrew Kearns and Evelyn Campbell. See some of Ireland's best singers and poets take to the stage to perform on the Socialist Voice platform. Will be held in The New Theatre and tickets €10.
22:00: Music, Craic and Plenty of Discussion
