In the Footsteps of St. Patrick is a walking tour starting outside the Discover Ireland Center and will finish up outside St. Patrick's Cathedral.
Enjoy one of our very special walks in celebration of Ireland’s national patron saint, in the company of professional and enthusiastic guides, led by the renowned Dublin historian and author Pat Liddy.
Much of the pre-Viking development of Dublin owed its origins to the legacy of St. Patrick, join us to uncover some of this fascinating history and all that followed! Our tour takes in ancient sites, including the two great medieval cathedrals of Christ Church and St. Patrick’s.
The walks will run on Saturday 14th March, Sunday 15th March, Monday 16th March, Tuesday 17th March & Wednesday 18th March at 11.00am* & 2.15pm
*Except Tuesday 17th March when only the 2.30pm tour will operate
Departure point: Outside Discover Ireland Center (converted church), Suffolk Street (parallel to Grafton Street).
Finish point: St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
Tour duration: Approximately 2 hours
Prices: €14 (€12 senior/students) per person. The price includes the entrance to St Patrick’s Cathedral.
Please turn up at least 10 mins in advance.
Under 16 with adult free on walk but €4 into Cathedral.
