THE SOUND OF CONFUSION:

"Soft and dreamy vocals, fuzzy guitars that hum with mild distortion, drums that clatter and smash away in the background, buried within the confines of the wall of sound.....Galants are a budding new shoegaze band who have the tunes to match their sound"

The Vincent(s)

Although only formed in Aug 2012, The Vincent(s) have toured extensively throughout Ireland and abroad and have a strong fan base at home and further afield, they represent something of a sea change in music that has emerged from the Ireland of recent times.
The band are currently in studio working on their debut long player with an expected early 2015 release.
The band have two new single releases in the coming months the first of which will be a revamped version of ‘Song for the Sea’ which was Produced by The Dandy Warhols frontman Courtney Taylor and mixed by Brandon Eggleston (Swans, Modest Mouse), it will be released on 26th of Sept. The Vincent(s) set their stall out early in 2013 with their debut ‘Asked Her to the Dance’ which caught the ear of Irish & international alternative press and radio.
“Their debut single ‘Asked Her to Dance’ is a total treat.”

Princess

10.40pm - 11.10pm The Mercantile

Mixing dream-like experimentation with elements of Krautrock, Ambient-noise rock and Psych-garage. Princess create simple song structures balanced against sonic rise and fall.

Hot off the back of their debut EP 'Black Cat' which saw them win praise from the likes of DIY and Artrocker, Princess have had an exciting year that's seen them play some of Ireland's biggest venues, become earmarked as the 'band to watch' at last year's Castlepalooza and win support slots for Cloud Nothings on their Irish tour this May.

Now the band are set to properly announce their arrival with the release of live favourite 'Never Look'. Alternating between the jangling, glittery verse and a fuzzy, raucous chorus, Princess’ ability to manipulate space, melody and rhythm is never more evident than on this new release.
