How to Disappear Completely
As part of the Tiger Dublin Fringe Festival How to Disappear Completely will be showing on the Peacock stage of the Abbey Theatre for 4 nights. According to Portland Monthly “The show’s pacing is impeccable. Erdal balances humour, beauty, and tragedy with the expertise of a tightrope walker.”
Itai Erdal is an award winning lighting designer. He’s also son to a mother, who, after being diagnosed with lung cancer, asked him to take her life. In this deeply personal yet surprisingly funny piece, Erdal demonstrates his approach to theatrical lighting while reflecting on family, mortality and his mother’s legacy. This award-winning show pairs the power of Erdal’s story with the nuanced potency of stage lighting.
“Warm, witty and, naturally, beautifully lit.” — Vancouver Sun
