The Dublin International Film Festival (JDIFF) in partnership with Dublin City Council, plan outdoor screening of one of Dublin's Favourite Films in Smithfield on Saturday 26th July 2014.
JDIFF exists to promote the best of Irish and International film over 11 days each Spring.
This year they are launching their exciting new strand - DIFFpix, and want it to become a platform for pop up screenings and events, they will encourage you to join DIFFpix Club to receive regular updates on special events as well as for a chance to win tickets to them and many other film related gigs around the city, from red carpet premiers to hidden, surprise events in some of Dublin’s coolest venues.
They are proud and really excited to announce our first DIFFpix event where they shall take over Smithfield Square and together with Dublin City Council where it will be turn into a unique experience.
We are starting by calling it #smithFILMsquare and will run competitions for tickets for all of you to be in with a chance to take part in this outdoor screening of Dublin’s Favourite Film on the 26th of July.
The festival has selected 12 iconic Dublin films – one for every year of the film festival’s existence, and we want audience feedback on those films.
