FAO Schwarz Lands in Arnotts Dublin
The wait is finally over – the doors of FAO Schwarz, the world’s most iconic toy store, are now open at Arnotts
FAO Schwarz has been at the top of the toy business for over 150 years. It’s a famous place of wonder and where countless memories have been made by children and adults alike.
The doors of the iconic toy retailer officially opened last week making Dublin one of two unique locations in Europe for the world famous toy store. The Dublin location at Arnotts offers exclusive toy collections and New York showmanship, taking experiential retail to a whole new level.
Customers visiting FAO Schwarz at Arnotts will experience the same magic and wonderment as the plethora of tourists who visit the New York flagship everyday bringing its trademark plush stuffed animals, captivating in store performances and infamous walk-on piano (as seen in the iconic 80’s movie BIG) to life.
There is a ‘build your own race car’ station which allows children to choose each part and detail themselves for their very own bespoke remote-control car. Children are also invited to bring home a baby doll from the Baby Doll Adoption Centre, complete with an adoption certificate for their new best friend.
FAO Schwarz at Arnotts is the new home to a host of adored brands, including Lego, realistic animal figures by Schleich, top
toys by Playmobil and Nerf and education favourites by Djeco. The store will also feature experiment al favourites from discovery and The Sharper Image and cherished baby gifts from Bunnies by the Bay, which can be personalised instore while customers wait. Adding to the magic will be the introduction of the ‘FAO Schweetz’ shop, a feast for the eyes as well as the sweet tooth, with giant gummy bears, FAO branded sweets, jelly toy soldiers along with souvenir chocolate keyboards
and cold coins featuring the iconic clock face.
