Christmas at Powerscourt Centre Has Arrived!
Powerscourt Centre are preparing for the fun-filled festive season, marked with their annual Christmas Lights ceremony this Thursday, November 14th at 6pm.
The beginning of the festive season is officially here as Powerscourt Centre celebrated Christmas 2019 – no shopping centre in Ireland is anything quite like it! Come join in and relish in festive entertainment, mulled wine, very special characters and of course the switch on of the centre’s Christmas Lights. It’s an evening not to be missed!
Later this month, from Saturday 30th November, everyone’s favourite man with a big white beard will be flying in from the North Pole. Welcoming back Father Christmas in the lead up to the most wonderful time of the year, he’ll be arriving to the beautiful sound of the joyful melodies of Piccolo Lasso Children’s Choir alongside Mrs. Claus and their mischievous elves.
Father Christmas invites families from far and wide to visit him in his workshop and grotto. Plus, for the first time ever, all tickets to visit Father Christmas in Powerscourt Centre will be sold online. So you can choose a time that suits you this Christmas and avoid the queues!
As always, Powerscourt Centre will also hold several exciting events throughout the Christmas period, which includes their annual Simon House of Light evenings on December 5th, 6th and 7th. This will be their festive themed light projection show taking place on the South William Street façade of the Powerscourt Centre on Thursday 5th December. It will truly be a spectacular show!
And if you need to shop, eat, read or rewind, Powerscourt Centre’s beautiful 18th century Georgian setting is ideal for it all. Unique with Irish designers and stores, it is a wonderfully magical location to visit this Christmas with the whole family and friends.
