1. Christmas Lights Switch On
Bring the family to watch the switching on of the Christmas lights on Grafton Street and Dublin’s Creative Quarter from 5pm on 13th November, and North Earl and Henry Street from 4pm on 16th November.

Browse for presents and be entertained at the Stephens Green Christmas Market on between 12pm and 8pm from 13 November to the 22 December.
3. Geansai Nollaig
Join in the World Record challenge Geansai Nollaig 2014 on O’Connell Street and celebrate all things ‘Christmas jumper’ from 3.30pm on 30 November.
4. Christmas Tree Switch On
Get in the festive mood at the switching on of the O’Connell Street Christmas Tree lights by the Lord Mayor Christy Burke from 3.30pm on 30 November.

6. IFA Live Animal Crib
The annual live animal crib returns to the Mansion House this December. This year marks the 20th anniversary of this traditional nativity scene. The IFA Live Animal Crib has been a joint venture between Dublin City Council and the Irish Farmers’ Association since 1995. The Crib opens on the 9th December and it will run until Christmas Eve. Open daily from 11.00am to 6.00pm with a 2.00pm closing on Christmas Eve.
